Launched in 1989, the International Journal of Canadian Studies / Revue internationale d'études canadiennes is a multidisciplinary and international bilingual scholarly journal. It is dedicated to the advancement of the study of Canada. Although each volume deals with a specific theme, each reserve a number of pages for articles not related to the theme in an open-topic section. Readers of the journal are scholars from various disciplines teaching and researching in the field of Canadian Studies, within Canada as well as outside the country. The aim of the International Journal of Canadian Studies / Revue internationale d'études canadiennes is to exchange research results in the field of Canadian studies. The International Journal of Canadian Studies / Revue internationale d'études canadiennes enables Canadianists outside Canada to disseminate in Canada the results of their research; conversely it enables Canadianists abroad to receive current research from Canadian scholars.
